PREPARING C – SILICONES

PREPARING SILOFLEX PLUS Easy processing Easy dosage, short mixing time, easy check of homogeneously mixed material with colour contrast catalyst

PREPARING SILOFLEX PLUS PUTTY dosage dose putty material using measuring spoon impress the edge of the spoon into the selected putty 2 strand-lengths of the catalyst (8 cm) per 1 spoon An excess amount of catalyst shortens the working and the setting times.

PREPARING SILOFLEX PLUS PUTTY mixing knead the substance thoroughly to achieve a homogeneous colour without pink stripes !!! Work in protective gloves only !!!

Method of double impression PUTTY APPLICATION on the tray Inserting into the mouth Outlet holes cutting Impression

PUTTY

PREPARING SILOFLEX PLUS LIGHT dosage mixing 1:1 30 s mix until a homogeneous colour is achieved, spread thoroughly along the pad to achieve a smooth consistency without bubbles

Method of double impression LIGHT APPLICATION Applying Light to the tray Inserting and fixing in the mouth

Method of double impression

IMPRESSION - PROCESSING Impression - disinfection Disinfection in standard disinfection solution (e. g. Jodisol diluted with water at a ratio of1:10) Store the impression at room temperature (up to 25 ºC) Plaster can be placed in the impression 30 minutes from removal of the impression from the mouth There are no time limitations, but it is recommended to cast within 4 hours.

Mistakes in preparation PREPARING SILOFLEX PLUS Mistakes in preparation non-homogeneous mixing – it can cause a foliated impression Too quick setting, resp. no setting due to mixing ratio Bad reproduction – impression at the end of working time

Thank you for your attention!
