This beanie uses shell stitches in 2 different shades of blue for a beautiful design. Bay Shell Slouch Materials: Yarn – Jeans | 1 Stonewash and 1 Faded Stitch Markers Scissors Designer: Designs by Phanessa Lion Brand® Jeans Pattern Number: Sizes: Adult Gauge: 4” = 2.5 Shells Stitches | 8 Rounds Level 3 - Intermediate Finished Beanie Measurements: Circumference 22-23” Height 10” Notes - The beg ch3 counts as a dc st. Round 4 (MC): ch3, 2dc in same st, sk3, 1sc in next, *sk1, 5dc in sc st, sk3, 1sc in next. Rep from * around. End with 2dc in first st, sl st into 3rd st from beg ch3. Rep Rounds 3-4 until beanie measures approx. 9" measuring from bottom of brim. End after round 4. Crochet more rounds for a slouchier beanie. DECREASE ROUNDS Round 1 (CC): ch1, *1sc in same st, ch1, dc5tog over the next 5 sts, ch1, 1sc in next st. Rep from * until last 5 sts. End with ch1, dc5tog, ch1, sl st to the first sc st. Round 2 (MC): ch3, 1dc in same st as ch3, sk2, 1sc in next, *3dc in sc st, sk2, 1sc in next. Rep from * around. End with 1dc in the first st. sl st to 3rd ch from beg ch3. Round 3 (CC): ch1, 1sc in same st, *ch1, dc3tog over the next 3 sts, ch1, 1sc in next st. Rep from * until last 3 sts. Fasten off and weave in all ends. .
