Working in a digital way A brief overview……..

General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) It’s all about me Why information collection, sharing and storage is important, how the law is changing and why those who work in adult social care have a duty to uphold data principles.  Legal implications of GDPR Clarion Solicitors have written this to help set out your legal obligations to comply with GDPR. Compliance can seem daunting, but it doesn’t need to be. Introduction to cyber security Cyber security is the name for the safeguards taken to avoid or reduce any disruption from an attack on data, computers or mobile devices. Security breaches can be more severe with digital records and breaches are costly.   Visit: www.skillsforcare.org.uk/digital

Working in a digital way Leading the way We interviewed three care businesses who have already embarked on a journey to invest in technology in very different ways. All their advice has been condensed into this resource and three films to watch. Robotics and the use of artificial intelligence There are currently a limited number of robots being used or in development within social care. But its development is growing as many see its use as a key part of how the sector will adapt to increasing needs in the future.  Read the scoping study and a brief overview of the types of technology in use.
