Fig. 1 Activity of daptomycin and other antibiotics in biofilms. The activity of daptomycin (DAP), minocycline (MIN), quinupristin-dalfopristin (Q-D) and linezolid (LIN) was tested against bacteria in biofilms generated from vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus faecium isolates obtained from patients with catheter-related bacteraemia.
