8 week challenge

8 week challenge What is it? A school based day of activities See list for all the activities on offer 8 week challenge

8 week challenge When? Wednesday 26th June It is a non-uniform day Period 1 & Period 2 follow your normal timetable Session 1 (pick 1 activity)- 10.45am until 12.15pm Lunch 12.15pm until 1.15pm Session 2 (pick 1 activity)- 1.15pm until 2.45pm 8 week challenge

For who? All year groups and based on referrals. There has been a “clean slate” from the launch 8 weeks ago so all students were eligible. Those deemed not eligible by the end of the eight weeks (your PTG and DHT will decide based on the number of referrals you have) will not take part and will work in classrooms on school materials instead. If you have met the challenge you will get a letter on Friday 21st June. 8 week challenge

How do I sign up for my two chosen activities? All the activities will be publicised through posters and the plasma screens. Signup sheets will be available from Friday 21st June from the teachers named on the list and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Take your letter with you to show the teacher and they will add you to their activity. Have fun – you have earned it  8 week challenge
