EASIER Reporting Demographic Information Assign a student ID for all preschool age children Report free and reduced lunchespecially important for children in SWVPP classrooms Each building and community partner has a four digit building number

Funding for Five-Year-Old Five-year olds will be included in Certified Enrollment if the following criteria are met: 5-yr old preschooler attending with a minimum cumulative FTE value = 0.50 Student may participate in 1 classroom Student may participate in more than one classroom Teacher is properly licensed through BOEE District holds the teacher contract. Program is located within a district building Program is part of the districts continuum of educational services

Additional Important Points Offsite locations must report 4 year olds participating in the SWVPP Offsite locations must report 3 and 5 year olds participating in the SWVPP District buildings must report 3, 4, and 5 year olds participating in the SWVPP

Kindergarten Literacy Assessment Administer Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills (DIBELS) or a kindergarten benchmark assessment adopted by the Department of Education (DE) to every kindergarten student enrolled in the district no later than October 1 [Iowa Code (16)];

Kindergarten Literacy Assessment Collect from each parent guardian or legal custodian of a kindergarten student enrolled in the district, information including, but not limited to, preschool attendance and demographic factors; and Report the results of the assessment and preschool information to the DE no later than January 1 of that school year.
