The Southern Cross International Music Festival The Southern Cross International Music Festival, hosted by Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, has established itself as the pre-eminent festival for school and community based performance groups. More than 700 musicians from Brisbane and around the world unite to participate in over 30 performances during the four day event

The Event – More than just a music festival International groups will perform alongside the highly acclaimed Young Conservatorium ensembles and some of Queenslands finest school ensembles. This musical and cultural milieu will provide students with moments of musical exhilaration, artistic satisfaction and cultural awareness

The finest ensembles… Based at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University – in the beautiful South Bank precinct – auditioned groups will work at a very high level of intensity
