Section 4 | Bishopsgate Case Study: Nuffield Health Case Study: Paddington Station Customer Requirement The delivery of a two-tonne CT scanner from Italy to the UK Bishopsgate services provided Specialist logistics services relating to a piece of high value medical equipment Transportation of CT scanner from Italy to the UK Delivery of CT scanner to Brighton Hospital Placement and final positioning Bishopsgate value-add Project was fully scoped using risk assessments and method statements Leveraged Teneso network to fulfil requirements with the help of MIT Safetrans Utilised specialist equipment, including a Fassi-mounted crane, to deliver the CT scanner, overcoming challenging environments, floor levels and distances Customer Requirement The delivery of a teller cash recycler (or cash counter) to Paddington Station Bishopsgate services provided Transportation and delivery of cash counter Final 100 yards delivery and movement of equipment within Paddington Station to the room of use Positioning, unpacking, installation and removal of waste packaging Bishopsgate value-add Kept areas safe for the general public by setting up an exclusion zone around the tail lift activity area, ensuring the area was marshalled at all times Deployed walkers / marshals when moving equipment around the main concourse Crew unpacked and depalletised cash counter in the required room; positioned it; removed the travelling bolts so the machine could be fully installed; and then removed all of the packaging from the site
