GURU NANAK JAYANTI- Guru Nanak Jayanti also known as Prakash Utsav celebrates the birth of Guru Nanak the founder of Sikkim. The day was observed in the J.V.M. school. The student of class VI gave speech, remembered his teaching about selfless service to human society and to God. HEALTH CARE PROGRAMME- Joining hands with the Chief Medical Officer, J.V.M. School organized the immunization programme in the school premises. The students of Class I, V & Class X were given vaccination under this programme in collaboration with Local Primary Health Center.

CHILDREN’S DAY- 14th November is celebrated as Children’s Day all over India. The day is celebrated as a tribute to the childhood. It is the day to remind all young and adults about children’s right to enjoy childhood and to be an educated adult in the future. J.V.M. Sholtu organised and conducted Future Scapes Painting Competition on 14th November. The children were indulged in beautiful colours. Sitting in the lap of forest area and gardens, the young artists gave colours & wings to their imagination based on different themes.

CAREER COUNSELLING- Career counselling is an integral part of education system. A career guidance and counselling programme develops an individuals competencies in self knowledge. At J.V.M. Sholtu we guide our class XI and XII students to understand their strength and weakness. Through career adviser the students can gain clarity in their minds and thoughts and can choose their future path easily. OLYMPIAD- In the month of November the young minds of J.V.M. Sholtu were busy writing their olympiad exams. Such competitive exams aim to provide exposure to the student and tries to bring out the best in them.

Achievements come our way when we maintain our physical mental well-being, by actively participating in various sports and games. Open State Football Under-13 Tournament was held at Shahpur, Kangra (H.P). Eight young players from class VII represented District Kinnaur Football team. The budding players of J.V.M.Sholtu proved their worth and were First Runner-up. Well Done! Four students were selected for the National Level Under-14 Boys Tournament. The HBPCL management encouraged and motivated our young player by providing them sports kit- A simple but strong way to enhance our students for regular practice and participation.

BULLETIN BOARDS are useful in schools and classes as they are used to post important information. The students can display their creative ideas and thoughts. J.V.M. Sholtu encourages the children to use their creativity, For fun and yet with a purpose. The school also awards the best class keeping in mind their display board, cleanliness and performance. In the academic session 2017, class IV received the best class award at the primary level. For senior group, the award was received by class X.

EXAM TIME- And finally the exams have set in – one of the ways to test students knowledge and to verify and judge them. The young J.V.M. are busy testing and preparing for their skills.
