Introduction Career options are plenty for an aspirant. Entrepreneurship often has lot of myths. Perception about career options is built due to various reasons. Literature review Fletcher (1999)-50 percentage of the respondents out of 245 graduates in nine Graduate Enterprise Programme (GEP) pursuing business start-up courses were females. Herderson and Robertson (2000) concluded through their study the fact that positive images of entrepreneurship as a career option was negatively affected by lack of identifiable role models, poor media presentations of individual or small firms, lack of encouragement from important influencers on career choices such as teachers and career guidance specialists. 6/15/2019 Dr. Manishankar Chakraborty and Mr. Syed Sadullah Hussainy

Conclusion Females showed more inclination than males. Business students, IT and Engineering students in that order showed preference towards Entrepreneurship.
