Research Question Due Wednesday of this week– 5/18/2011
Abstract Summary of work already completed or the work the student is proposing Concise snapshot of project Description of the project 100-150 words
Abstract a summary of a text, scientific article, document, speech, etc.
Abstract Start a new page for abstract. Include your research question 1” from the top (centered and double-spaced). Write “Abstract” on the next line with centered alignment. Avoid making it bold, italic, quotation marks and underlined. Double-space the abstract as you do the body of your paper. Include 12 in font/Times New Roman. Provide your reader with an overview of your topic and your key points (the foci of your body paragraphs). Is a single paragraph containing not more than 100 to 150 words.
Answers 4 Questions Why did you choose this study? (motivation, identifying the problem) What did you/will you do and how? (methods, procedure, approach) What did you/do you hope to find? (results, findings, product) What are the larger implications of your findings? (conclusion) * Questions 3 and 4 often run together.
