“Will you please feed and water the animals before you leave for school?” Mark said to this grandchild. “Ok, Papa.” was the reply. “You will be late for school if you don’t start in the next 30 minutes. You should start soon.” Marcy added.

Steve is growing and more is being asked of him at home and at school as well. He is learning more about himself and the changes his body is going through. Next year, he will be a young adolescent.

He is excited about getting older and being able to do Steve thinks. He is excited about getting older and being able to do some of the things his older siblings can do. He will be able to stay home alone when his folks are out. He will also be able to stay up later and go out with friends to the movies. Steve realizes that doing his chores will let his Papa know that he is making the right decisions. When he grows up, he wants to make folks proud of him.
