STEM Ambassadors “Inspiring the next generation”

Planes/Gliders This activity involves designing paper planes and competing to see whose can go the furthest using both simple and advanced launchers. The activity then moves onto gaining a deeper understanding of aerodynamics and structures and involves designing and testing gliders.

Air Drop Based upon a humanitarian aid scenario, this activity involves designing a system to safely deliver an aid package (Egg) from a height of 5m.

Rockets This activity involves designing and testing rockets using launchers powered by air pumps. The activity involves a competition to see whose rockets can accurately hit targets at varying distances.

STIXX With a couple of turns of a handle, STIXX machines convert a few sheets of newspaper in to a solid rod which you can use to build life sized structures. Activities include building: Bridges Furniture Shelters Vehicles

MTa With MTa STEM Kit you can deliver 24 experiential activities that encourage and support young people to explore, understand and develop a wide range of interpersonal and team skills with a focus on STEM. Activities can include building: Towers Cable cars Catapults Vehicles
