Overview Goal is improved service to increase energy efficiency among energy-intensive and low-income households Two year U.S. Department of Energy sponsored project runs from Oct 2016 through Sept 2018 Geospatial database tool serving the UCPCOG region (Wilson, Edgecombe, Nash, Halifax & Northampton Counties) Energy assistance & efficiency programs integrated with energy usage data from area utilities and publicly available demographic and other data.

Data Providing Partners NC Dept of Environmental Quality Weatherization Assitance Program Heating & Air Repair & Replacement NC Dept of Health & Human Services Crisis Intervention Program Low Income Energy Assistance Program Roanoke Electric Cooperative Upgrade to Save Program Wilson Energy utility data Town of Enfield

Outcomes Phase 1 Product: Resolve data privacy and security concerns. Design and develop the enterprise geodatabase and integrate residential utility energy use data. Final Product: Provide geospatial analysis capability to partner organizations to store, track, and analyze their energy related program data, providing incentive to continue to provide data input and populate the database.
