Virginia Plan Three separate branches. Bicameral legislative branch. Government could interfere with State laws. Executive branch and judicial branch could veto acts. States would support the Union.
New Jersey Plan Unicameral legislative branch equally represented. Government could tax. More than one chief executive.
Compromise Connecticut Compromise- Created a Senate equally represented and a House of Representatives represented according to State population. Three-Fifths Compromise- Each slave would count as 3/5 for population purposes. Commerce and Slave Trade Compromise- Couldn’t tax exports or stop slave trade.
