Learning objectives: to understand why the UN has set sustainable development goals To know about the sustainable development goals that involve promoting ‘safety’ To be able to discuss what safety means to different children in their community and around the world.

Seguridad Goal 11: Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable. Safety when travelling or in towns and cities, especially for vulnerable people Goal 4: Quality education Safety when at school for all children Goal 16: Peace, Justice and strong institutions Safety at home

What does safety mean to you? Think about: travelling to school and around your local area at home at school what does being safe feel like to you? what do you need to be safe?
