DLA SECURITY PROCEDURES FAC takes DLA Security Training FAC will enroll in a mandatory DLA Security Training course through E-Learn . Training must be completed before DLA window. FAC will take a short 10 question quiz. If FAC scores an 80, user will earn e-train credit. Others may take the course, but it is mandatory that one person per campus take the course. Meeting & Planning with Administration Debrief with campus administrative team about DLA updates. Define campus expectations. Decide on procedures, protocols and campus best practices. Assign roles for DLA administration. Determine date for campus training. FAC ensures staff who will handle DLA’s is trained on security. (DLA Security Training- PowerPoint) 2. Train staff on the following: Classroom Environment Student Preparation Test Security and Confidentiality Procedures for Materials Handling Schedules and Time Limits Monitoring and Test Administration Post-Test Handling and Collection of Materials Best Practices 3. All staff who handle DLA’s will sign an oath. Campus Training Pre-DLA Administration Prepare for all protocols, procedures and best practices. Prepare materials (copies, bubble sheets, releasing assessments on EdPlan, etc) Safely store materials. Make copies of oaths and provide a copy to the Student Assessment Dept. (Oaths can be mailed to Route 3 or can be hand-delivered to the TMC) Implement all protocols, procedures and best practices. Distribute test materials. All incidents should be reported to the campus FAC. Campus FAC will discuss the nature of the incident with the principal and other stakeholders All serious incidents that impact data quality or serious impropriety are escalated to Student Assessment. DLA Administration Post-DLA Administration Teachers can view test and test items. Teacher can review test content with students and use the DLA for instructional next steps. After a reasonable timeframe, DLAS are collected and disposed. Method of disposal is at the discretion of the campus. Note: DLA items are not to be reused or recycled in any way.
