Purpose of this Public Consultation Centre To introduce the Region of Waterloo and City of Cambridge Transportation Master Plan studies and collect public input about the City’s transportation system on: Future goal and objectives; Transportation needs and how to address needs; New and emerging trends and their effects; and How to get involved in the study. Moving Cambridge

What is Moving Cambridge? Moving Cambridge will be the City’s new Transportation Master Plan to support planned City growth to year 2041. Moving Cambridge will define and prioritize a transportation system that supports all travel modes - walking, cycling, transit and autos, and reduces dependency on single occupant vehicle trips. Moving Cambridge will create a vision, direction and goals to support efficient movement of people and goods within Cambridge.

Why does the City of Cambridge Need a Transportation Master Plan? To establish a vision for the City’s transportation network over the next 25 years. To identify constraints, needs and opportunities to improve the movement of people and goods. To define and improve connections to the Region and provincial transportation network. To develop and support sustainable transportation policies.
