WHAT IS DRILL? The shapes and movements done performed by a marching band Drill Sheets are a collection of “dots”, each dot representing a single performer. These dots come together to create a shape, or “form” Each performer is given a dot number which will be their number for all of the drill

WHAT IS A DOT BOOK? Dot Books are personalized collection of a single performer’s dots Typically a small notebook you can carry around your neck/waist at every rehearsal

WHY DO WE NEED ONE? Easier to carry than drill sheets Allows for quicker and more efficient rehearsals Limits confusion Personalized to how you can understand it
