Emerging Media BFA Students must submit portfolio to be accepted If eligible, students can submit portfolio prior to transferring to UCF Three tracks: Character Animation, Experimental Animation, Graphic Design The Character Animation program will be moving to the Main campus this fall Students who intend to pursue this major should be advised to take MAC1105C (or a higher level math) as part of the AA degree

Department of Modern Languages & Literatures The following programs have been renamed: French BA is now French & Francophone Studies Translation & Interpretation Undergraduate Certificate is now the Spanish Translation & Interpretation Certificate New undergraduate certificate: French Translation & Interpretation

Limited & Restricted Access Programs Students should be aware of admission criteria for their intended program. Required prerequisites Portfolio submission Audition dates Students pursuing Music or Theatre programs should plan to audition before transferring to UCF

Foreign Language Proficiency Requirement Met with one year proficiency of college level foreign language Not met with high school foreign language or AA degree American Sign Language (ASL) is not accepted for any degree program in the College of Arts & Humanities Some programs require foreign language proficiency beyond one year
