Because of this, we need to learn quotes. For each chapter we have read so far find two important quotes. Using a page in your books display these quotes in a way that will help you remember them – memory techniques include using colour and pictures etc. Remember – you need to be able to analyse language for the exam, so quotations that you can explode for a 5 star paragraph are best.
