Parents began years of reading to/with me Began 10 years of piano lessons Began years of art lessons Birth Age 1 Age 5 Age 7 Age 7 Met Lynde Swanner (Langsten), my life- long friend and mentor Had first of 6 teachers to profoundly advance my academic and personal confidence

Age 7.5 Age 7.5 Age 8 Age 9 Age 10 Came to know Jesus and was baptized Gained a life-long friend who has special needs Had first life- threatening asthma attack Age 7.5 Age 7.5 Age 8 Age 9 Age 10 Began 8 summers of helping/working at mother’s preschool’s summer camps Met Deborah, lifelong friend who gave me security to be involved in church youth

Began teaching piano lessons to children Was automatically accepted to UT and accepted to Baylor Financial difficulties that made Baylor impossible & began work at Cotton Patch Age 16 Age 17 Age 18 Age 18 Age 18 Toured Baylor (on the way to UT) Realization that I longed to go to Baylor far more than UT

Floods of scholarships to Baylor right before accepting UT’s acceptance Graduated from High School Got called the day before the last Line Camp that there was a spot open for me Age 18.5 Age 18.5 Age 18.5 Age 18.5 Age 18.5 Decision to attend Baylor Very emotionally and physically difficult summer

Went to Line Camp (Gained lifelong best friend that’s made college 150% better Moved to BU, thus ending the unfortunate summer Age 18.5 Age 18.5 Age 19 Age 19 Age... Also at Line Camp gained feeling of connection and place At a place of contentment and feeling ever fortunate
