Presentation transcript:

Let us Say What Needs Saying No matter what the cost or conflict, let us speak God’s word with all boldness!

Saying What Needs to Be Said John the baptist was not beheaded for telling Herod, “Marry whomever you want because God just wants you to be happy.” Rather, John said to Herod, “It is not lawful for you to have your brother's wife.” (Mark 6:18)

Saying What Needs to Be Said Stephen was not stoned for preaching, “I’m OK, you’re OK.” but for telling the Jews that they were “betrayers and murderers” of Christ and that they had “not kept” the Law. (Act 7:52-53)

Saying What Needs to Be Said Jesus Christ was not crucified for claiming to be a good man, but for declaring Himself to be the Son of God! The Jews told Pilate, "We have a law, and according to our law He ought to die, because He made Himself the Son of God." (John 19:7)

May this be our prayer… “Now, Lord…grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word” (Acts 4:29)

And at the end of life’s journey, may we be able to look back and say… “We were bold in our God to speak to you the gospel of God in much conflict.” 1 Thessalonians 2:2
