Infinitives

Definition “To + Verb” Functions as a noun (like a gerund) subject DO Functions as an adverb answers the question “why?”

Let’s look at some examples of how infinitives are used, and then you can practice identifying infinitives in some more examples

In these infinitives, we lose the “TO”
