City of Blue Springs 2019 Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event When: Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 8 a.m. to Noon Where: Pink Hill Park, 2715 NW Park Dr., Blue Springs (1-1/2 miles north of I-70, west of 7 Hwy., enter from Park Rd.) Cost: FREE to Blue Springs residents (Proof of residency required) Limit: 300 Vehicles - first come, first served Items: Automotive fluids, batteries, household cleaners, lawn and garden products, pesticides, paints and related products, Residential Waste ONLY Alternative Options All Blue Springs residents may take household hazardous waste to permanent centers and other mobile events free of charge. Explosives, tires, asbestos, appliances, yard, medical and non-residential waste (commercial businesses, nonprofits, churches, and home-based businesses) will not be accepted at any facility or mobile event. Proof of residency required. Kansas City Facility – 4707 Deramus Ave.; Open year-round Thursday & Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturdays 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. No appointment required.
