Minneapolis City of Lakes Rotary Club │ 2012 – 2017 Re-Visioning Plan 2012-2013 Action Plan To start doing now… Engage 20% of club in hands-on international service in next 5 years Champion: ________ Complete 3 clean water projects in 5 years Champion: Jodi Petrich Partner with and rotate with Area 10 Clubs to complete 1 major successful project each year Champion: Christine Taylor Be a part of the process to improve literacy to 80% in 5 years in Minneapolis Champion: Community Service Committee Increase average attendance at weekly meetings from about 65% to 75% Engage 100% of active members in at least 1 additional activity beyond the weekly Wed. am meetings during the year Champion: Fran Lyon-Dugin If you would like to be involved in one of these goals, see the Champion. If there is no Champion, volunteer! By 2017, our Club will have impacted the Minneapolis Community by: Working in partnership with other organizations, increase literacy to 80% in Minneapolis, focusing on at-risk youth Gaining recognition of our club’s influence and action by the City of Minneapolis By 2017, our Club will have improved our Club Culture by: Engaging 100% of active members in at least 1 additional activity beyond the weekly Wed. am meeting every year Increasing average attendance at weekly meetings from 65% to 75% Increasing diversity of membership that reflects percentages within our community By 2017, our Club will have impacted the Global Community by: Completing 3 clean water projects Participating in a hands-on a service project with 20% of club members Securing 7 matching grants Completing the second school build in Haiti and creating a sustainable sponsorship kit Increasing financial support to RI by 10% annually to help eradicate polio By 2017, our Club will have enjoyed Effective Partnerships by: Initiating 1 major successful project in cooperation with each Area 10 Club and others, rotating lead club each year Putting on the best district conference ever in 2014/2015 Additional partnerships are incorporated into the other 3 goals areas Updated July 25, 2012 Service │Fellowship │Diversity │Integrity │Leadership
