INSPIRE IMPLEMENTATION IN CYPRUS Ministry of the Interior Department of Lands & Surveys INSPIRE IMPLEMENTATION IN CYPRUS National Law 43(I)/2010 came into force in 2010 for the purpose of harmonization with Directive 2007/2/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 March 2007, establishing an Infrastructure for Spatial Information in the European Community (INSPIRE)» The Department of Lands and Surveys, the Department of Information Technology Services and the Department of Environment, have undertaken the leading role in organizing and implementing the directive, through the actions of INSPIRE Management Team in which they participate. Specifically, the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Cyprus, based on Law N.43(I)/2010, has undertaken the leading coordinating role in implementing the INSPIRE Directive in Cyprus and is chairing the INSPIRE Management Board.

Basically only geometry is available-Users complain Differences when consuming the services using ArcMap or QGIS. THEREFORE people are required to RE-routed to national services, if the data are available BETTER COORDINATION ON A NATIONAL LEVEL
