All about me! *I have been teaching for 16 years in Duval County schools. This is my 10th year here at Joseph Finegan Elementary School! The best school in Duval County! *I have a daughter that is in fifth grade with you as well as two miniature poodles named Thelma and Louise *I love to read, travel, explore our amazing city, go to the beach, take photos, and spend my days with smart fascinating students like YOU!!!! * I am looking forward to a great 2016 – 2017 school year knowing that this year will be the BEST EVER! Classroom Rules Follow directions the first time they are given. Raise your hand and wait for permission to speak. Stay in your seat unless you have permission to do otherwise. What happens when I am absent?

When you are absent… It is your responsibility to get the work that you missed from all of your teachers Any work that was due to your teachers on the day that you were absent is due when you return Ask your tablemates for class notes that you might have missed, so that you do not fall behind In other words, BE RESPONSIBLE for your own work/grades! Individual Rewards 100/A+ behavior is eligible for the treasure closet (top 8 -10) and Monday Lunch Bunch (Movie) with all three classes! NICE! Copy slide if you want to add more sections to this PowerPoint.

On Fridays, the chips will be counted, and Group Rewards Groups will be rewarded in each class by receiving chips based on excellent behavior, group work, organization of supplies, accountable talk, and any other behavior that shows outstanding leadership. Class Rewards The class works together to receive compliments, so that they can add a link to the compliment chain. These compliments come from people noticing how well behaved the class is in line or at lunch. Each time the whole class gets a compliment, we will add a link to the compliment chain. CLASS JOBS With HOMEROOM: *Line Leader based on Silver Anchor (Basically my personal assistant) * Restroom Monitors/Door Holders * Mrs. Danese chooses the table washers *Caboose BLOCK B AND C CLASS JOBS: *Silver Anchor is personal assistant (pass out papers, collect items, etc.)
