To locate bills by keyword Go to http://web.lexis-nexis.com/congcomp At the bottom of the left-hand navigation bar, click on State Capitol Click on Bills Click on “Bill Text by Keyword” In the main search box, enter the keyword that you wish to search for, as well as any other criteria (state, date, etc.) Click on “Search”

To locate bills by number Go to http://web.lexis-nexis.com/congcomp In the left-hand navigation bar, click on State Capitol Click on Bills Click on “Bill text by Bill Number” In the main search box, enter the bill number, starting with the location of the introduction (i.e., House = HB, Senate = SB) followed by the number Click on “Search”
