Mr. Boyd’s Science Class Pick up a white piece of paper & a marker Find the desk with a folder and sit there!

Hands Trace your hand then cut it out…. On the thumb: Your name (the one you want to be called) On the pointer: #1 goal for this school year On the middle: Biggest Pet Peeve On the ring: Biggest long term goal you have right now On the pinkie: One little thing I need to know about you

Be sure everything is signed & in your folder! Folders Due by Friday, Aug.14th 20/20 All or nothing Be sure everything is signed & in your folder!

Grades 70% Tests,Quizzes,Projects 30% Other Other: Homework, Labs, Class work, etc… (I do grade in red sometimes-don’t take it personal)

Picking Up & Submitting Work Turn in Picking up (Bellringer or other) Make-Up Work (you’re responsible) Stapling, Hole-punching, & Supplies

Books!! When I call your name, get up and pick out a book. Tell me your book number. At the end of the year, lost books must be purchased! So keep up with yours and be sure you don’t get your books mixed up!

Classroom Expectations: Quiet on the Bell…2 warnings, 3 rings…writing assignment Don’t talk while others are talking & don’t argue Be seated unless you are on a destination and remain seated until the bell rings to dismiss you Homework…due on day of test (unless this becomes a problem) Food & Drinks Hand washing and Germ-x Don’t mess up things in my room (including my desks!) Books!! Feet on desk If you leave the room, be sure you only go where you ask to go (p.s. you only use the restroom at the end of our hall) If you have an issue or problem, please approach the teacher b4 or after class

What do you NEED?? Your brain of course, and….. Lab Fee! $20…Due ASAP! You cannot do labs unless you have paid! (Note: This is not for Biology!!!!!) Binder or Notebook I prefer a binder because it is easier to organize, but I won’t deny a notebook Writing Utensil Blue or Black Ink or Pencil
