Higher order questions Lesson Topic(s): Story Elements Week of: 1/14-1/18 Objectives: Students will identify the elements of a story. TEKS: 6 (A) identify elements of a story including setting, character, and key events. Essential Question(s): How are the characters and setting important to this story? Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Lesson Plan Students will identify the characters in a story read aloud. Students will explain the role of each character in a story read aloud. Students will identify the setting of a story read aloud. Students will sort character and setting cards by story.
