Backyard Conservation Dig into Gardening  Free to attend Please RSVP Tanya Flegel at 605-854-3183 or kingsburycd@sdconservation.net April 4 ,2019 @ 5:00pm 120 2nd st SE Desmet SD Kingsbury Conservation   Cheryl Paulmlund is our local Master Gardener will guide you through the steps of starting a garden from soil to planting Susanne Albrecht Local owner of Poinsett Gardens Inc. located in DeSmet will update you on the variety of plants she has and tips to planting and care of the plants Tanya Flegel from Kingsbury Conservation District will be talking about flower, pollinator and rain garden design.  Joan Wollschlager Local producer and produce marketer located on highway 14 can teach you how to compost in big or small yards, and the benefits of composting. She will also talk briefly on her high tunnel and how to build one.  Jim Finnegan from the NRCS and local producer will guide you on how to market and sell your produce. From Licensing to how to be a grade A market! Beth Poppen local leader of the Growing YOUth program will tell you what they are and how you can take advantage of this wonderful organization .
