Concentration overview The Future of Global Business Services – concentration for undergraduate and graduate students at University of Economics in Krakow Goal: educate new generations of GBS employees Program assumptions: ASPIRE as a founding partner Pilot project for testing new solutions in professional education of university level students Deep partnership between academic and corporate worlds – testing methods, tools, building bridges… A unique initiative that opens the doors to new paths, new partners, and locations Instructors UEK faculty members Partner companies – experienced designated employees Pedagogy interactive approach, problem-based learning, and integrative curriculum approach
Concentration courses – graduate level Semester 1 (4) Global Business Services – Concept, Scope, Practical Implications Future of Finance and Accounting Project Management in Transformative Organizations Project Module (level 1) Semester 2 (5) Successful Communication, Collaboration and Self-Development in Corporate World Technology and Development – Progressive Approach Evidence-Based Decision-Making Process in Business Organization Project Module (level 2) Semester 3 (6) Project Module (level 3) Capstone – MA Final Project Additionally, another course – Future of Banking will be developed in Feb/March

Some important facts Each course is 30 contact hour long Team teaching approach Classes are held at UEK, except of the classes arranged at partners’ premises Projects are done in various locations UEK faculty member is responsible for the course and development of a detailed sylabus Currently: Undergraduate level – 23 students Graduate level – 17 students List of partner companies: Hitachi Vantara, UPM, Ecolab, Abbvie, BBH, State Street, Aon, Alexander Mann Solutions, IBM LAB, IG, AMER Sports, UPM
