The capital of North Carolina is Raleigh. North Carolina became a state on November 21,1789.

The state bird of North Carolina is the Cardinal and the state flower is the dogwood.

The state tree is the pine tree The state tree is the pine tree. The state nickname is the Tarheel State .

My state has is 133 colleges and universities.

Bobby Bell was a defensive linebacker for the NFL Carolina Panthers.
