MILESTONES 1979 1980 1981 Elektro Elektronik Kollektif Ltd. was founded as an Electonic Research and Development Company by Can GÜR and Ozcan GÜR. Elektro had developed and produced marine type public announcement system and power phase failure relay for motors. Elektro had released the first Panel Type Digital Power Factor Meter in the World.

MILESTONES 1982 1986 1996 Elektro had developed and produced Power Factor Controller and Digital Pf meter. Also Elektro had started to produce Electric Reactive Power Correction Panels. Elektro had started electronic components distributorship business in serving to telecom and consumer electronic fields. Elektro acquired Alcatel Teletaş facilities and renamed as Komsa Communications Inc.; Komsa signed an agreement to produce Alcatel’s System12 Digital Exchanges, Radio Link Systems and Payphones.

MILESTONES 2001 2002 2005 Komsa finalized its OEM contract with Alcatel and began to develop own branded 19’’ Network and Server rack cabinets. Komsa company name changed as Canovate. Canovate developed aluminum chassis Network and Server cabinets and received worldwide patent for aluminum cabinets.

MILESTONES 2006 2009 2011 Canovate began to develop Passive Fiber Optic Infrastructure product family included ODF (Fiber Optic Distribution Cabinets), Fiber Patch Panels, etc. Canovate produced Turkey’s first double-sided fiber tape ODF, named Troy and was awarded with the Technology Award of the year. Canovate opened an office in Dubai, U.A.E

MILESTONES 2013 2014 2015 Canovate developed a In-Row Cooler (Front/Side Cooling) family with a German business partner. Canovate Enerji was founded and started to produce heat pumps, chillers and refrigerators. Canovate High Technologies was founded with the aim of suppliying high technology products to Turkey. Canovate developed Micro Data Center, Mini Data Center and Mobile Data Center. Also launched of the structural cabling family, IP PDU and “Nano Sense”. Environmental Surveillance System was developed and patent applications began. Canovate Ballistic Systems was founded with the aim of manufacturing body armour, soft armour, ballistic blanket and other ballistic systems.

MILESTONES 2016 2017 2018 Canovate developed “CAN Fiber Tree” in building fiber cabling solutions. Canovate opened an office in the state of Florida, U.S.A. Canesis System Entegration was founded and provides end-to-end solutions with its solution and technology partners to meet the business needs of customers with its value added services and system integrator identity aiming to create difference in the sector. CanAero (Canovate Avivation and UAV Systems) was founded with the aim of supplying aviation and UAV Solutions for defence and security markets. Canovate developed “Adiabatic Indirect Evaporative Cooling Family”. Canovate opened an office in Ankara, Turkey.
