Design a prototype Directions: Teacher Preparation/Lesson Plan 1. Teach the terms concepts and prototypes 2. Choose the number of groups/pairs your class will need in order to play. 3. Print the square cards (cardstock would be best) and laminate if possible 4. Cut the squares out 5. Group/pair students and hand each group/pair one card 6. Explain directions and begin 7. Give students about 15-20 minutes depending on need. Once groups are finished, collect the products and compare them. (i.e. compare the dog prototypes as a class and choose the best prototype) 8. Close discussion with clarifying any questions. Directions: Using your cognitive abilities analyze the term you were given on the card Discuss with your partner what the term is and describe the concepts associated with it Together come to an agreement on a visual depiction that would best represent a prototype of the term
