The Covenant of Works And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food. And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so. Genesis 1:28-30 28 وَبَارَكَهُمُ اللهُ وَقَالَ لَهُمْ: «اثْمِرُوا وَاكْثُرُوا وَامْلاوا الارْضَ وَاخْضِعُوهَا وَتَسَلَّطُوا عَلَى سَمَكِ الْبَحْرِ وَعَلَى طَيْرِ السَّمَاءِ وَعَلَى كُلِّ حَيَوَانٍ يَدِبُّ عَلَى الارْضِ». 29 وَقَالَ اللهُ: «انِّي قَدْ اعْطَيْتُكُمْ كُلَّ بَقْلٍ يُبْزِرُ بِزْرا عَلَى وَجْهِ كُلِّ الارْضِ وَكُلَّ شَجَرٍ فِيهِ ثَمَرُ شَجَرٍ يُبْزِرُ بِزْرا لَكُمْ يَكُونُ طَعَاما. وَلِكُلِّ حَيَوَانِ الارْضِ وَكُلِّ طَيْرِ السَّمَاءِ وَكُلِّ دَبَّابَةٍ عَلَى الارْضِ فِيهَا نَفْسٌ حَيَّةٌ اعْطَيْتُ كُلَّ عُشْبٍ اخْضَرَ طَعَاما». وَكَانَ كَذَلِكَ.

Genesis 2:16-17 16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, “You may surely eat of every tree of the garden, 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” 16 وَاوْصَى الرَّبُّ الالَهُ ادَمَ قَائِلا: «مِنْ جَمِيعِ شَجَرِ الْجَنَّةِ تَاكُلُ اكْلا 17 وَامَّا شَجَرَةُ مَعْرِفَةِ الْخَيْرِ وَالشَّرِّ فَلا تَاكُلْ مِنْهَا لانَّكَ يَوْمَ تَاكُلُ مِنْهَا مَوْتا تَمُوتُ».

Genesis 2:9 9  And out of the ground the LORD God made to spring up every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. 9 وَانْبَتَ الرَّبُّ الالَهُ مِنَ الارْضِ كُلَّ شَجَرَةٍ شَهِيَّةٍ لِلنَّظَرِ وَجَيِّدَةٍ لِلاكْلِ وَشَجَرَةَ الْحَيَاةِ فِي وَسَطِ الْجَنَّةِ وَشَجَرَةَ مَعْرِفَةِ الْخَيْرِ وَالشَّرِّ.

Adam Transgressed the Covenant Hosea 6:7 7  But like Adam they transgressed the covenant; there they dealt faithlessly with me. 7 وَلَكِنَّهُمْ كَآدَمَ تَعَدَّوُا الْعَهْدَ. هُنَاكَ غَدَرُوا بِي.

How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! فَشُكْراً لِلَّهِ عَلَى عَطِيَّتِهِ الَّتِي لاَ يُعَبَّرُ عَنْهَا يَا لَعُمْقِ غِنَى اللهِ وَحِكْمَتِهِ وَعِلْمِهِ! مَا أَبْعَدَ أَحْكَامَهُ عَنِ الْفَحْصِ وَطُرُقَهُ عَنِ الِاسْتِقْصَاءِ

The Covenant of redemption It is an agreement among the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, in which the Son agreed to become a man, be our representative, obey the demands of the covenant of works on our behalf, and pay the penalty for sin, which we deserved. اتفاق بين الاب والابن والروح القدس قبل فيه الإبن أن يصير إنسانا ويكون ممثلنا، ويطيع متطلبات عهد الأعمال نائباً عنا ويتحمل عقاب الخطية الذي نستحقه

من جهة الأب اتفاقاً بأن يعطي الآب الأبن شعباً يفديهم ليكونوا ملكاً له The Father’s Vow to give to the Son a people whom he would redeem for his own possession من جهة الأب اتفاقاً بأن يعطي الآب الأبن شعباً يفديهم ليكونوا ملكاً له 2 since you have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him. 6 “I have manifested your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world. Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word. The Father’s Vow To prepare a body for the Son to dwell in as a man وأن ‏يهيئ ‏جسداً للابن لكي يسكنه كإنسان 5 Consequently, when Christ came into the world, he said, “Sacrifices and offerings you have not desired, but a body have you prepared for me; Hebrews 10:5 5 لِذَلِكَ عِنْدَ دُخُولِهِ إِلَى الْعَالَمِ يَقُولُ: «ذَبِيحَةً وَقُرْبَاناً لَمْ تُرِدْ، وَلَكِنْ هَيَّأْتَ لِي جَسَداً.

The Father’s Vow to accept him as representative of his people whom he had redeemed وأن يقبله نائباً عن شعبه الذين أفتداهم 24 For Christ has entered, not into holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true things, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf. Hebrews 9:24 24  لأَنَّ الْمَسِيحَ لَمْ يَدْخُلْ إِلَى أَقْدَاسٍ مَصْنُوعَةٍ بِيَدٍ أَشْبَاهِ الْحَقِيقِيَّةِ، بَلْ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ عَيْنِهَا، لِيَظْهَرَ الآنَ أَمَامَ وَجْهِ اللهِ لأَجْلِنَا.

The Son’s Vow ‏من جهه الأبن...اتفق على أن يأتي الى العالم كإنسان ويعيش كإنسان تحت ناموس موسى To come into the world as a man and live as a man under the Mosaic law 4 But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. Galatians 4:4-5 4 وَلَكِنْ لَمَّا جَاءَ مِلْءُ الزَّمَانِ، أَرْسَلَ اللهُ ابْنَهُ مَوْلُوداً مِنِ امْرَأَةٍ، مَوْلُوداً تَحْتَ النَّامُوسِ، 5 لِيَفْتَدِيَ الَّذِينَ تَحْتَ النَّامُوسِ، لِنَنَالَ التَّبَنِّيَ.

The Son’s Vow he would be perfectly obedient to all the commands of the Father ‏ويكون مطيعاً تماماً لكل أوامر الله ووصاياه 7 Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come to do your will, O God, as it is written of me in the scroll of the book.’” 8 When he said above, “You have neither desired nor taken pleasure in sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sin offerings” (these are offered according to the law), 9 then he added, “Behold, I have come to do your will.” He does away with the first in order to establish the second. Hebrews 10:7-9 7 ثُمَّ قُلْتُ: هَئَنَذَا أَجِيءُ. فِي دَرْجِ الْكِتَابِ مَكْتُوبٌ عَنِّي، لأَفْعَلَ مَشِيئَتَكَ يَا أَللهُ». 8 إِذْ يَقُولُ آنِفاً: «إِنَّكَ ذَبِيحَةً وَقُرْبَاناً وَمُحْرَقَاتٍ وَذَبَائِحَ لِلْخَطِيَّةِ لَمْ تُرِدْ وَلاَ سُرِرْتَ بِهَا». الَّتِي تُقَدَّمُ حَسَبَ النَّامُوسِ. 9 ثُمَّ قَالَ: «هَئَنَذَا أَجِيءُ لأَفْعَلَ مَشِيئَتَكَ يَا أَللهُ». يَنْزِعُ الأَوَّلَ لِكَيْ يُثَبِّتَ الثَّانِيَ.

The Son’s Vow becoming obedient unto death, even death on a cross ‏ وأن يكون مطيعاً حتى الموت، موت الصليب 8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Philippians 4:8 8 وَإِذْ وُجِدَ فِي الْهَيْئَةِ كَإِنْسَانٍ، وَضَعَ نَفْسَهُ وَأَطَاعَ حَتَّى الْمَوْتَ مَوْتَ الصَّلِيبِ.

‏أن يجمع لنفسه شعباً لكي لا يهلك أحد من الذين أعطاهم الأب له The Son’s Vow ‏أن يجمع لنفسه شعباً لكي لا يهلك أحد من الذين أعطاهم الأب له Son also agreed that he would gather for himself a people in order that none whom the Father had given him would be lost 12 While I was with them, I kept them in your name, which you have given me. I have guarded them, and not one of them has been lost except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. John 17:12 12 حِينَ كُنْتُ مَعَهُمْ فِي الْعَالَمِ كُنْتُ أَحْفَظُهُمْ فِي اسْمِكَ. الَّذِينَ أَعْطَيْتَنِي حَفِظْتُهُمْ وَلَمْ يَهْلِكْ مِنْهُمْ أَحَدٌ إِلاَّ ابْنُ الْهلاَكِ لِيَتِمَّ الْكِتَابُ.

‏انه يعمل مشيئته الأب ويملأ المسيح ويقويه لينفذ مهمته على الارض The Holy Spirit’s Vow من جهه الروح القدس ‏انه يعمل مشيئته الأب ويملأ المسيح ويقويه لينفذ مهمته على الارض agreed to do the will of the Father and fill and empower Christ to carry out his ministry on earth 18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, Luke 4:18 18  «رُوحُ الرَّبِّ عَلَيَّ لأَنَّهُ مَسَحَنِي لأُبَشِّرَ الْمَسَاكِينَ أَرْسَلَنِي لأَشْفِيَ الْمُنْكَسِرِي الْقُلُوبِ لأُنَادِيَ لِلْمَأْسُورِينَ بِالإِطْلاَقِ ولِلْعُمْيِ بِالْبَصَرِ وَأُرْسِلَ الْمُنْسَحِقِينَ فِي الْحُرِّيَّةِ

‏انه يعمل مشيئته الأب ويملأ المسيح ويقويه لينفذ مهمته على الارض The Holy Spirit’s Vow من جهه الروح القدس ‏انه يعمل مشيئته الأب ويملأ المسيح ويقويه لينفذ مهمته على الارض to apply the benefits of Christ’s redemptive work to his people after Christ returned to heaven 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8 8 لَكِنَّكُمْ سَتَنَالُونَ قُوَّةً مَتَى حَلَّ الرُّوحُ الْقُدُسُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَتَكُونُونَ لِي شُهُوداً فِي أُورُشَلِيمَ وَفِي كُلِّ الْيَهُودِيَّةِ وَالسَّامِرَةِ وَإِلَى أَقْصَى الأَرْضِ».

The Covenant of redemption 4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love 5 he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, Ephesians 1:4-5 4 كَمَا اخْتَارَنَا فِيهِ قَبْلَ تَأْسِيسِ الْعَالَمِ، لِنَكُونَ قِدِّيسِينَ وَبِلاَ لَوْمٍ قُدَّامَهُ فِي الْمَحَبَّةِ، 5 إِذْ سَبَقَ فَعَيَّنَنَا لِلتَّبَنِّي بِيَسُوعَ الْمَسِيحِ لِنَفْسِهِ، حَسَبَ مَسَرَّةِ مَشِيئَتِهِ،

The Covenant of redemption God chose him as your ransom long before the world began, but he has now revealed him to you in these last days. 1 Peter 1:20   مَعْرُوفاً سَابِقاً قَبْلَ تَأْسِيسِ الْعَالَمِ، وَلَكِنْ قَدْ أُظْهِرَ فِي الأَزْمِنَةِ الأَخِيرَةِ مِنْ أَجْلِكُمْ،

The Covenant of Grace 15 I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.” Genesis 3:15 15 وَاضَعُ عَدَاوَةً بَيْنَكِ وَبَيْنَ الْمَرْاةِ وَبَيْنَ نَسْلِكِ وَنَسْلِهَا. هُوَ يَسْحَقُ رَاسَكِ وَانْتِ تَسْحَقِينَ عَقِبَهُ».

The Covenant of Grace 21 And the LORD God made for Adam and for his wife garments of skins and clothed them. Genesis 3:21 21 وَصَنَعَ الرَّبُّ الالَهُ لِادَمَ وَامْرَاتِهِ اقْمِصَةً مِنْ جِلْدٍ وَالْبَسَهُمَا.

6 فَامَنَ بِالرَّبِّ فَحَسِبَهُ لَهُ بِرّا. The Covenant of Grace 6 And he believed the LORD, and he counted it to him as righteousness. Genesis 15:6 6 فَامَنَ بِالرَّبِّ فَحَسِبَهُ لَهُ بِرّا.

The Covenant of Grace 13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, behind him was a ram… 8 Abraham said, “God will provide for himself the lamb for a burnt offering, my son.” Genesis 22:13,8 13 فَرَفَعَ ابْرَاهِيمُ عَيْنَيْهِ وَنَظَرَ وَاذَا كَبْشٌ… 8 فَقَالَ ابْرَاهِيمُ: «اللهُ يَرَى لَهُ الْخَرُوفَ لِلْمُحْرَقَةِ يَا ابْنِي».

The Covenant of Grace 24 So then, the law was our guardian until Christ came, in order that we might be justified by faith. 25 But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian, for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. Galatians 3:24-26 24 إِذاً قَدْ كَانَ النَّامُوسُ مُؤَدِّبَنَا إِلَى الْمَسِيحِ، لِكَيْ نَتَبَرَّرَ بِالإِيمَانِ. 25 وَلَكِنْ بَعْدَ مَا جَاءَ الإِيمَانُ لَسْنَا بَعْدُ تَحْتَ مُؤَدِّبٍ. 26 لأَنَّكُمْ جَمِيعاً أَبْنَاءُ اللهِ بِالإِيمَانِ بِالْمَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ.

The Covenant of Grace 4 For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. Hebrews 10:4 4  لأَنَّهُ لاَ يُمْكِنُ أَنَّ دَمَ ثِيرَانٍ وَتُيُوسٍ يَرْفَعُ خَطَايَا.
