Starter - Anthropometric data and Ergonomic data

Objective To understand how to measure human form when designing. To begin to understand how to answer the main design question in the Product Design Paper.

Success Criterion - This will come at a later date. (C) grade Foundation and higher -, all pupils need to begin to use the revision pack to collate a range of information and research relevant to the exam design questions. All need to show some understanding of what constitutes towards a sustainable design solution. You will begin to answer the design brief given to you, thinking about the equipment, materials and CAD-CAM you could use in your answers. Higher paper (B and more) – students need to write up notes in greater depth, explain clearly what is intended and draw a range of development sketches to show the examiner what and how you could make the product items requested.
