To begin tracing your illustration, copy and paste the image into your drawing board. Set the first color to red, and the second to black.

Next, trace the image with a red outline Next, trace the image with a red outline. You can use the curved line tool, pencil tool, or any other drawing/shape tool you need.

Next, click on the eraser tool. The eraser should be black now Next, click on the eraser tool. The eraser should be black now. Right click while using the eraser tool and go over the red lines, changing them to black.

Now, you have to invert the colors Now, you have to invert the colors. Select the whole image using the select tool. Now, right click and hit the ‘invert colors’ option. The image will be crazy colors, that’s what it is supposed to look like, don’t worry.

Now, with the image still selected, go to File>Properties>black and white. This will change your picture into a black in white image.

Now select the image again, and invert the colors for a final time (select>right-click>invert colors). You will have a black and white line image. To finish off the tracing, return to file>properties, and select color instead if black and white.

Now, you can color the image however you like.
