Evidence for Enhancement: improving the student experience 2017-20 Year 1 Year 2 Year 3

Evidence for Enhancement… What information is useful to help us identify and understand what we do well and what could be improved?  Do we use the information we have in the best way possible? Do we have the right information?

…Improving the student experience Can we get better at using information to: identify where improvements could be made  prioritise actions for improving the student experience  evaluate the effectiveness of those actions

Collaborative clusters and workshops The creative disciplines cluster (Glasgow School of Art and The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) Employability and distance learning workshops (OU Scotland) Learning analytics workshops (The University of Strathclyde) HEIs working together in clusters to address a topic of mutual interest Potential to add value to the whole sector HEIs can tender for funding from QAA Scotland

Student Engagement sector strand (student led project) Responding to the Student Voice: Communicating the Impact focusing on the ways institutions communicate with students about the impact of student feedback/the student voice This year involves a survey of all HEIs and student associations, a think tank event, a scan of international practice and a workshop run by sparqs at the EU Student Union forum
