Implementation
D.El.Ed Programme Status 13.78 Lakhs teachers registered from all over India in 1st year – 3.21 Lakhs from Govt Schools & 10.57 Lakhs from Private schools. Conduct of D.El.Ed workshop for State Nodal Officers & NIOS State Project Coordinators in Dec 2017 and June 2018. About 12000 Study Centres identified to allocate these teachers – All DIETs, TEIs & Sr.Secondary Schools : MoU with States/UTs. About 12000 Study Centre Coordinators & about 54000 Resource Persons were appointed for smooth implementation of the Prog. Orientation of Study Centre Coordinators, Resource Persons & Mentors : through AVIEW VC & F2F attended by PIC members.
D.El.Ed Programme Status Conduct of 1st Year PCP, SBA and WBA – Establishment of Model Study Centres – As per D.El.Ed First Year Schedule of Activities. 12.11 Lakhs teachers registered for D.El.Ed. (2nd Year)from all over India – 2.76 Lakhs from Govt Schools & 9.35 Lakhs from Private schools. Conduct of 2nd Year PCP, SBA and Practice Teaching – As per D.El.Ed Second Year Schedule of Activities. Development of D.El.Ed Examination Guidelines & SOP for D.El.Ed Examination : Submission of Online Examination Fee on portal. Monitoring of PCP,SBA,WBA & PT by NIOS HQ, RCs, State authorities and PIC members.
D.El.Ed Programme Status Identification of Exam Centres & Custodians in consultation with State Nodal Officers. Orientation of State Nodal Officers, State Project Coordinators & Exam Centre Superintendents : through AVIEW VC & F2F. Online Hall tickets for teachers, Online list of teachers & Attendance sheet & Online attendance for exam centres. Conduct of 4 Examinations for all courses 501-510 between May 2018 till 16th March 2019.Supplementary Exam for 501-505 also conducted. 92-96% Attendance recorded – Strict Monitoring from District & State authority, NIOS HQ & RCs, State authorities, MHRD & PIC

Master Trainers (Senior college faculty of DIET/College of Education) (M.A., M.Sc., B.Ed./M.Ed./M.A. Education/Ph.D. Education) Proposed Roles and Responsibilities Action Taken Orientation of Resource Persons for Academic front Training to write Assignments in ODL Mode. Guiding Resource Persons to handle hotspots of the SLM through MOOCs and impart the same to the Trainees in classrooms during PCPs. Master Trainers are the faculty of Education from Colleges and Universities. They trained the Resource Persons about the SLM in ODL Mode. They trained the Resource Persons to ensure that Assignments should not be bookish, instead on the basis of Trainees experiences within the classroom settings. Trained the Resource Persons for handle hotspots of the SLM through MOOCs by telling them to make content visually attractive and beneficial to the Trainees.
Resource Persons (Faculty of DIET/BRC/SIE and GSSS) (M.A., M.Sc., B.Ed./M.Ed./M.A. Education/Ph.D. Education) Proposed Roles and Responsibilities Action Taken Organizing Counseling Sessions for Teacher Trainees Arrange theoretical and practical tutorial classes for Trainee Teachers. Assist Study-Centre Co-ordinators in workshop activities. Evaluate Theory and Practical Assignments of the Teacher Trainees. - 15-Days’ Counseling Sessions (per year) were held at all Study Centers across the country on weekends and national holidays. All classes ran as per schedule and student queries were answered. Teacher Trainees were helped in Lesson Planning, Teaching Learning Materials, Teaching Aids, Demonstration Lessons, Seminars, Preparing Charts, Portfolios etc.
