Presentation transcript:

Scenario 1: Device Wake up to Poll Coordinator (No data from Coordinator) Device wakes up Device Transitions to Receive Mode Device Performs one CCA Device Transitions to Transmit Mode Device Transmits a Poll packet Device Receives an No_Data Acknowledge Assuming the Acknowledge is received, goes back to sleep

Scenario 2: Device Wake up to Poll Coordinator (Have data from Coordinator) Device wakes up Device Transitions to Receive Mode Device Performs one CCA Device Transitions to Transmit Mode Device Transmits a Poll packet Device Receives an Acknowledgement with data available Wait 192us Receive the data packet from coordinator Device Transmits an acknowledgement

Battery Self Leakage: 0.5% per month 10% of the time there is data 20% of the time there is data Battery Capacity = 2000 mAH Battery Self Leakage: 0.5% per month Length of the Event: 6.3ms to 7.2 ms Active current: 25mA Sleep mode current: 2uA (The channel is clear, i.e. TRX does one CCA per attempt)
