Ecosystems Change Due to: #3: Invasive Species An introduced species is one that is not native and is either deliberately or accidentally introduced into a new habitat by human activity. An introduced species becomes an invasive species when it has a negative effect on our economy, environment, and/or our health. Not all introduced species are invasive!
