June Close – July 4th Holiday Questions Safety Moment June Close – July 4th Holiday Questions Today’s call is the second of two Unit Controller Calls for the month of June. The content of both calls is the same. Please use the chat, or conversation, function at the lower left of the Skype screen, to ask questions as we proceed through the agenda. We will pause for your questions between each topic and also at the end of the presentation. As employees of Sodexo, no matter what level, you are expected to personally demonstrate your commitment to improving our health and safety culture. Our goal is zero accidents. A Safety Moment during every meeting will demonstrate the importance of the health and safety culture at Sodexo. Unit Controller Call August 2019

Safety Moment: A Flood of Danger

A Flood of Danger Follow these precautions: Flood Facts: Listen to weather and flood warnings. Stay away from flood areas. If you have to go somewhere, check the news for which areas to avoid. Do not drive through a flooded area. If you come upon a flooded road, turn around and go another way. Do not walk through flooded areas. Even a few inches of rushing water can knock you off your feet. Be extremely careful whenever you see water over a road. Even shallow water can conceal a washout of a road or bridge Flood Facts: Flash floods can bring walls of water from 10 to 20 feet high. Go to the highest floor possible. A car can be taken away in as little as 2 feet of water. Flood damage is almost never covered by homeowners insurance, flood insurance is important for people living in high-risk flood zones. Flood Warning: Take Action: A Flood Warning is issued when the hazardous weather event or flooding is imminent or already happening Flood Watch: Be Prepared: A Flood Watch is issued when conditions are favorable for flooding or a specific hazardous weather event to occur. Much of the United States has seen record rainfall over the past several weeks. Some areas of the country have been drenched with sudden storms causing flash flooding in many areas. Learn about the flood history in your area, and be prepared to travel to safety if necessary Flooding is one of the most common disasters in this country, second only to fire. Safety Moment

Month End Close Schedule for June - Period 10 Unit Controller Call Hello, this is -------------------, title, from Client Accounting. I wanted to take a few minutes to inform you as to changes to the Period 10 (June) close schedule that will take place the first week of July.

June financial close schedule Pre-close deadlines Client Accounting –contact info We are going to discuss the upcoming Financial Close schedule for June Deadlines for BD+1 and BD+2 And Contact information for Client Accounting

June Financial Close Schedule June’s Financial Close BD+4 Schedule has been adjusted for July 4th holiday. Financial adjustments and research requests for June’s month end financial results need to be submitted on Wednesday, July 3rd (BD+3) by 8pm ET. For this close, the cutoff for any adjustments submitted on Thursday July 4th (BD+4) has been changed to Noon ET. Our long-range goal is to process all adjustments on BD+3 and eliminate the need for adjustments on BD+4. The Noon deadline on BD+4 will allow everyone to enjoy the Holiday.   The July 4th Holiday will have an affect on our Financial Close deadlines. BD+3 occurs on July 3rd. Our schedule will remain the same as in past closes. The Client Accounting and Contract Management teams will be staffed as usual, and will be accepting adjustments until 8:00 pm EST. Adjustments received by this time will be included in the BD+4 reports. On BD+4, July 4th, the Client Accounting and Contract Management teams will be available beginning at 7:30 am EST. However, the deadline to send in Period 10 adjustments has been moved up to Noon EST. This deadline is realistic, if you remember, our cutoff for adjustments had been 11:30am, prior to the beginning of FY19. On BD+5, July 5th, final reports and settlements will be available as usual.

Preclose deadlines   Pre-close deadlines have not been extended. UFS transmissions on BD+1 and reporting cutoffs on BD+2 remain the same. Review the chart for June month end close deadlines: Date Deadline Description Monday July 1st Final month-end transmission due 11:45 pm ET (BD+1) Tuesday July 2nd SAP Processing of June activity (BD+2) Wednesday July 3rd  Financial Close Day 1 – Review & Adjust Preliminary Reports (BD+3) Thursday July 4th Financial Close Day 2 – Analyze Financial Results (BD+4) – Change to Adjustment cutoff. Cutoff changed to Noon ET. Friday July 5th June’s final financial results & month-end settlements (BD+5) You may also have questions as to if the Holiday will have an affect on “pre close” BD+1 and BD+2 deadlines. As you can see, BD+1 and BD+2 deadlines for transmissions and reporting will not change at all. Final Month end transmissions are still due on Monday July 1st at 11:45 pm EST It will be business as usual for all departments in the FSS on Tuesday July 2nd as they complete SAP processing.
