Tuesday (10/16) and Wednesday (10/17) Comparing & Contrasting! Please sign in at podium for attendance purposes. Today’s Agenda: Grab a handout in the bin. These are your viewing questions. They will be due when the movie has ended. ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS in the AND SO (INFERNCING) format. (Just need the complete AND SO answers. No charts…unless you want to use that strategy.) Work On/Complete Exit Ticket (due today or tomorrow).

Tuesday (10/16) and Wednesday (10/17) Comparing & Contrasting! Your EXIT TICKET will be collected when the movie has ended. Today or next session (most likely). You will receive classwork points for your answers. THE EPIC HERO BEOWULF SIMLARITIES ODYSSEUS 1 2 3 4 5

Thursday (10/18) and Friday (10/19) Comparing & Contrasting Our Heroes Warm Up: Class Discussion and Review of our graphic organizer comparing and contrasting Beowulf and Odysseus. Take Notes/Discuss Finish Movie: The Odyssey Classwork/Homework: Complete a “skeleton” outline for your next essay. Construct an introduction (with hook and thesis), along with the “buckets” for the body paragraphs of your paper. Have at a minimum, three supporting details for each bucket. Due next class session.
