An opinion essay

You say what you think about a statement or a topic, giving reasons for your views.

Get ideas: Think about the statement or topic ( background information). Decide what your opinion is. Think of many arguments as you can support. Choose 2 or 3 best ideas. Plan : Paragraph 1 : Introduction to the topic Paragraph2 : Your first argument Paragraph 3: Your next argument Paragraph 4: Summary of your opinion

Write Use linkers of reason, addition and contrast to connect ideas. Use a variety of opinion expressions. Give the main idea and support. Sum up . Advice Keep on topic. Introduce the topic at the beginning. Use a variety of expressions . End with a clear conclusion summarizing your views.
