Figure 1 Renalase is a nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH)-dependent amine oxidase. Rate of resazurin reduction provides an indirect measure of renalase oxidase activity. Renalase=20μg recombinant renalase; epinephrine=20μmol/l; NADH=250μmol/l. Fluorescence intensity measured using a fluorescence plate reader (560nm excitation filter, 590nm emission filter) at 37°C, and recorded for 20min (n=3).
