Welcome! www.onecard.uconn.edu 2019_2020 Husky One Card Office Welcome Introduce self – Our office issues ID cards to all students and employees. We also administer the Husky Bucks Program. This is a picture of what the UConn student Identification card looks like. We call the card the Husky One Card. It is the size of a debit card. It has a magnetic strip on the back of the card that is encoded with a number unique to each student. Welcome! www.onecard.uconn.edu

What are Husky Bucks? $ Campus Cash $ Husky Bucks is a debit account on each student’s Husky One Card. Once funds are in the account, students just swipe their cards to make purchases, both on and off campus, without having to carry cash or other cards. One Dollar = One Husky Buck Cash withdrawals are not permitted

Husky Bucks and Points are NOT the same Residential Meal Plan Points 2019_2020 Husky Bucks Husky Bucks and Points are NOT the same Husky Bucks Residential Meal Plan Points You decide how much to deposit and when to deposit Quantity determined by meal plan and you cannot add extra at the discounted rate Never Expire Expire at end of each semester Refundable upon graduation Use ‘em or lose ’em Use at all on-campus restaurants, cafes, and businesses Use only at UConn Dining Services’ food locations Use off-campus at local restaurants and stores Cannot be used off-campus Use at the UConn Bookstore Cannot be used at the UConn Bookstore * Search path programmed so points are taken first where applicable All cash registers at UConn Dining Service food locations are programmed so that points are always used first. Once the point balance is exhausted, then the registers will subtract Husky Bucks.

Required for printing and copying in UConn libraries and printing centers Husky Bucks are accepted almost everywhere on and around the Storrs campus, such as: UConn Bookstore to buy books, supplies, and UConn apparel To pay for miscellaneous services/items such as: prescriptions at SHS, Husky One Card replacement, student tickets at the Jorgensen, and many more Coke Vending, CVS, grocery stores, and many other off-campus businesses Merchants who accept Husky Bucks often offer discounts and incentives when a student pays with Husky Bucks Can be used for budget purposes and record keeping Convenient – no need to carry other cards or cash, students can just use the card they are already carrying

2019_2020 Transfer students - go home with Husky One Cards today. Freshman will be leaving Orientation with their Husky One Cards if they submitted their photo prior to the deadline. The deadline was 24 hours prior to the start of the Orientation session. If they didn’t meet the deadline they still need to submit their photos online. They should come to the One Card Office to pick up their card on move-in day. Friday we will be open 8 am to 6 pm as well as 12pm to 4pm on Saturday and 10 am to 2 pm on Sunday of move-in weekend. Located in room 207 of the Wilbur Cross Building. If you live nearby, students can come during the summer to get it. Students need to bring a government issued picture ID when they come get their One Card. Questions?
