GOALS

Goals Aims that people consciously try to reach. When you reach a goal, you attain something you want and consider important. Your goals keep you focused.

Time Frame Short Term: less than a week Intermediate: Between a week and month. Long: Several months or years. When making a long term goal, you usually break it down into short-term or intermediate goals. Visionary goals: you don’t really expect to achieve.

Your Goals In your notes, jot down 5 long term goals that you have.

Are they SMART? S=Specific M=Measurable A=Attainable R= Realistic T=Timely

To help make your goals a reality…. Make a list of what you want out of life. Consider your personal priorities Try and focus on achieving goals. Make definite plans. Establish consequences and rewards. Know yourself and what you are capable of accomplishing.

STANDARDS Standards are different levels of achievement. People have standards for their appearance, how well they do certain skills, and quality of their possessions. People acquire their standards through personal contacts in their experiences.

Bucket List On a sheet of paper that you can turn in, I want your bucket list. A bucket list is a list of all the things you want to accomplish in your lifetime. You should have no fewer than 15 things.

Revamp goals Earlier you wrote down 5 long-term goals. At the bottom of your bucket list, I want you to rewrite those goals to be SMART goals. Turn in your bucket list and revamped goals into the cube.
