Why do you think the Great Big School Clean is so important?

More than 2.25 million pieces of litter are dropped in the UK every day Dropped litter can lead to animals being hurt, in fact the RSPCA reported that 7,000 animals were injured as a result of litter in 2017.

Litter dropped on the streets often ends-up in the Ocean Where marine animals can mistake it for food, causing them harm

Guess how long these items take to decompose? 1 Month 2 Years 20 Years 450 Years Never!
